Tips

  • This profile is used to display the club required for each shot on the 2D and 3D Planners.
  • Use the big "+" and "-" buttons at the top to adjust your entire profile up or down.
  • Then use the small "+" and "-" buttons to make fine adjustments to individual clubs.
  • Your profile is automatically saved whenever you make an adjustment.
  • To rename a profile, click the "Rename" button and then enter the new name.
  • To create additional profiles, e.g. for multiple players, use the "Copy" or "New" buttons.
  • Select the required profile in the drop-down list to make it active on the 2D and 3D Planners.
  • Use the "Backup/Share" buttons to backup your profiles whenever you make a change.

Elevation Adjustments and "Plays Like" Distances

  • The 2D and 3D Planners will automatically adjust your distances based on the elevation of each shot.
  • They will then calculate which club is required and give you the club percentage and "plays like" distance.
  • Most players will probably know their exact distances at one specific reference elevation.
  • The default reference elevation is sea level, i.e. 0 metres elevation.
  • However, you can override the default by entering an alternative reference elevation in the box at the top.
  • For example, if you know your exact distances at 1000 metres, you can enter 1000 metres in the box at the top.
  • The 2D and 3D Planners will then make the adjustments relative to your chosen reference elevation.
  • If you know your exact distances at more than one reference elevation, you can create multiple profiles.
  • You can then select the best matching profile to get the most accurate clubbing on each course.
  • Note that the "plays like" distance is always the equivalent distance at sea level, not the reference elevation.
